Welcome to AlbertaTechSupport HelpDesk (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and membership offerings at OnlineTechSupport.net. By registering for or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services

AlbertaTechSupport HelpDesk provides subscription-based technical support for:

  • AI-driven instant chat assistance (24 hrs.)
  • Live chat with professional technicians (9 am – 6 pm MST).
  • Priority fast response support ticketing (24 hrs.)
  • Troubleshooting for mobile devices, computers (hardware & software), networks, email, and browsers

Our goal is to deliver fast, clear, and effective solutions to your technical issues.

2. Membership & Subscription

  1. Plan & Fees
    – Monthly subscription fee: CAD $24.95.
    – Payments processed via our integrated payment gateways (for example, PayPal or Stripe).
    – Billing cycle choices are monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual. Choose your billing cycle at the shopping cart.

  2. Automatic Renewal
    – Your membership automatically renews each payment cycle unless you cancel before your next billing date.
    – You will be notified in advance by email of upcoming renewals and any fee changes.

  3. Cancellation & Refunds
    – You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
    – After 30 days from signup of our services, all fees are non-refundable, and no prorated refunds will be issued for partial periods when cancelling.
    – Full 30 day money-back guarantee if a customer is not satisfied; however, after 30 days has expired, no refunds are processed for the customer.
    – Speaking and typing in English is perferred while using our Live Chat; however, we have translation mechanisms in place for those who can not speak English.

  4. Eligibility
    – You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts.

3. Access & Use Restrictions

  1. Paid Access Only
    – AI chat, live chat, and priority ticket submission are available exclusively to active, paid members.
  2. Account Security
    – Keep your login credentials confidential and safe. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you lose your credentials, contact support and we will reset your password and send it to you securely.
  3. Prohibited Conduct
    – Do not misuse the services, attempt unauthorized access, or engage in harassment, spamming, or illegal activities. The IP will be tracked and the customer will face termination of their account.
    – Abusive treatment to our agents while in Live Chat, or Support Tickets will not be tolerated and can result in termination of the user’s account with no refund.
  4. Free Customer Service Support
    – We have both AI and live agent chatbot on our website that non-logged in guests can use; however, the support is limited to questions about our services or about our website.

4. Support Services Disclaimer

  1. 30 Day Money Back Guarantee
    – While we strive for accuracy and timely resolutions, we cannot guarantee every issue can be fixed. However, we do offer a 30 day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with our service.
  2. User Responsibility
    – You are responsible for backing up your data before implementing any suggested solutions.
    – We assume no liability for data loss, hardware damage, or other damages resulting from your use of our advice.
  3. Third-Party Products
    – Our recommendations may involve third-party hardware or software. Third-party warranties and support remain your responsibility.

5. Intellectual Property

  1. Ownership
    – All content on our site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by AlbertaTechSupport HelpDesk or our licensors.
  2. License
    – We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the site and services for personal or internal business purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall AlbertaTechSupport HelpDesk or its affiliates, officers, agents, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlbertaTechSupport HelpDesk and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, or demands (including attorney’s fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the services.

8. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a website announcement at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Calgary, Alberta.
